Instructions
Preparation (10 min)
Season chicken with soya sauce, salt and sesame oil. Mix well and let marinate for 30 min.
Cut onion, carrots and potatoes into 1 inch pieces.
Remove skin of garlic.
Cooking (45 min)
Heat claypot thoroughly.
Add cooking oil and allow it to heat up.
Add onion and garlic and saute lightly.
Add carrots and potatoes and brown surfaces lightly.
Add marinated chicken legs and ensure that it touches pan to allow browning. Cover the claypot to prevent splatter and leave it alone for 3 min.
Give it a stir and flip the chicken legs allow the other side for brown for 3 min. Cover the claypot.
Add water. Cover the claypot and allow it to simmer on low for 30 minutes to an hour.
