Instructions
Preparation
Remove roots of spinach and rinse thoroughly with water to remove any soil or sand. Cut spinach into shorter lengths.
Beat eggs.
Rinse wolfberries with water.
Cooking
Bring ikan bilis soup stock to a rolling boil.
Add wolfberries.
Add spinach and bring to a boil. Cook until spinach is almost tender.
Season with salt, pepper and soya sauce to taste.
Lower to a slow simmer. Stir soup while pouring in beaten egg slowly.
Notes
Tips:
Use a measuring cup with a spout to pour egg in a fine stream.
Add sliced chicken thigh, fish, prawns, silken tofu or minced pork for added protein.
Serve and enjoy with rice.
